RIFLE diagnostic criteria for acute kidney injury
Criteria
Serum creatinine 1.5-2 times above baseline or GFR > 25% decrease below baseline, urine output < 0.5 mL/kg/hour for 6 hours
Serum creatinine > 2-3 times above baseline or GFR > 50% decrease below baseline, urine output < 0.5 mL/kg/hour for 12 hours
Serum creatinine > 3 times above baseline or ≥ 4 mg/dL [350 mcmol/L] or acute rise ≥ 0.5 mg/dL [44 mcmol/L] or GFR > 75% decrease below baseline, urine output < 0.3 mL/kg/hour for 24 hours (oliguria) or anuria for 12 hours
Persistent AKI (> 4 weeks)
ESRD (> 3 months)
