Emergency contraception: as per AAFP 2022 guidelines, offer the following options for emergency contraception: a copper intrauterine device as the most effective method; a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (52 mg) as a similarly effective option; followed by oral ulipristal (30 mg), oral levonorgestrel (1.5 mg), and the Yuzpe method as alternative options.
