Treatment of serious infectionsShort-term management, caused by Acinetobacter species, Enterobacter species, E. coli, Klebsiella species, Proteus species, Providencia species, Pseudomonas species, or Serratia species
Maintenance: 15 mg/kg IV daily, in 2-3 divided doses, for 7-10 days
Maximum: 1.5 g per day
Administered over 30-60 minutes.
